How to get ahead in the fast-paced AI race
Maybe, like me, you find yourself in the middle of your life, with the prospect of your job being eliminated due to AI. What will you or your employer be looking for? How can you ensure that you can stand out reasonably in a competitive job market?
Outside of a degree, how do you stand out, and how do you stay up to date with the fundamentals that you or your employer will be looking for? Not knowing where to start, what will you or your employer be looking for?
I looked into college programs, self-learning, and certifications. Embarking on a college degree at this stage in life seemed to be a more long-term goal. Which may or may not give me a leg up. With certifications, I can complete them at my own pace. This would allow me to beef up my resume, ensure my foundations are solid, and immediately stand out.
Certifications can be a mixed bag; they are only as good as the program that issues them. I set out to identify the best certifications that employers actually look for and compiled them into a list.
